Student visa for Netherlands

Student visa is not required for students who wish to study in the Netherlands and come from member states of European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland. Students coming from third countries and wish to study longer than 3 months must have student visa and upon arrival to Netherlands they must apply for residence permit as well.

Conditions for student visa

• Student must be enrolled in studies at accredited educational institution
• To have adequate education level for enrolled studies
• To have sufficient knowlegde and skills of the language in which program is thaught
• Student must be able to cover costs of studying and staying in Holland
• To prove that their main goal is studying and why they need those studies
• To have adequate health insurance
